Collectors Comment: Le Figi, ufficialmente Repubblica di Figi, sono uno Stato insulare dell'Oceania che sorge sull'arcipelago omonimo, composto di 322 isole, di cui 106 abitate permanentemente, e 522 isolotti. La capitale di Figi è Suva, che si trova nell'isola di Viti Levu. Le due isole maggiori, Viti Levu e Vanua Levu, contano circa l'87% della popolazione. I paesi più vicini sono a nord Tuvalu, a est Tonga, a ovest Vanuatu e la Nuova Caledonia, e a sud la Nuova Zelanda. Il 10 ottobre 1970 il paese proclamò l'indipendenza.
