ND (1969). Multicolored banknote. This 5000 Franc banknote features an aerial view of Djibouti harbor at center on the front, flanked by "Cinq Mille Franks" in French and Arabic at left, and a watermark area at right. The front of this paper money shows "Djibouti" at the bottom of the design at the front, and at the top of the note on the back. The back of the banknote features ruins at center, and sheeps heads at bottom left and right.
